The pulse rate or heart rate are the same thing. They are the number
of times your heart beats in a given time, usually per minute. So,
the faster your heart beats, the higher your heart or pulse rate
is. When resting, a pulse or heart rate may be 70 beats per minute.
This could rise to 130 beats per minute if you were exercising.
